Chareif Lewis

Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Chareif is a former collegiate athlete and University of South Florida graduate. He began his collegiate career at Florida A & M University before transferring to USF. During his redshirt year, he was mentored by Coach Dennis Mitchell, under whose guidance he secured an athletic scholarship to USF. During his tenure at USF, Chareif participated in various events, including the 60m dash and the 400m, and notably set a school record as a member of the 4x100m relay. Upon graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Chareif reunited with Coach Mitchell and Star Athletics, transitioning from an athlete to a coach. Initially intending to coach at the collegiate level, his focus shifted after the success achieved in his first year of professional coaching. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Chareif is an avid sneaker collector, car enthusiast, and boxer.
